Back last year they announced they weren't going to make the 1 series M coupe (M1) and then they were and then they weren't it got a bit silly in the end, don't think they will call it a M1 though because of the original it will have like the X series the M after, 1 series M
The coupe is better looking than the hatchback but both are rather oogly and not my cuppa!
Wonder how different it will be to the 135i ??? this was partly the reason they weren't going to make it, it will have to be faster than the 135i and then your getting close to M3 territory but for half the price
That link works and it doesn't i get a runtime error, probably a java script they are using, but click ok on the error and the page loads eventually, thats using Mozilla firefox not crappy IE

Well the "BMW 1 Series M Coupé" is a bit of a mouthful and agreed with others, it's an fugly bugger but I bet it will go like hot snot!
And I also reckon in a straight line there wont be a great deal between this and the 135i.

Funny little things these. They look ok in pictures and vids but, when you see them in the flesh they look rather "toytown".
It will be very interesting to see how it is pitched between the 135 and the E9xM. I think the Yanks in particualr are very taken with what can be done to the 135 already.

Little shot of the inside!
Looks like they are using some parts from the M3
And a onboard video uploaded to UberMpower's YouTube Channel!
