Ask him to get his cash in the UK so you can be present. Then you'll know its real money.

Tomorrow is the appointed day for Le Frog to arrive at Stanstead. The last contact I has was a phone call last Sunday so I mailed him last night. This morning he mailed to say he had changed his mind because there are no doors / roof (mentioned in the advert and discussed via email almost from the beginning) and the rear wheel arch is damaged (as mentioned in the advert, a £200 repair, accounted for in the asking price which was already low compared to the competition not to mention the £300 I agreed to reduce selling price by). Typical too that I had found a couple of Stags that I really liked and was going to look at over the weekend. Total waste of 2 weeks and raised expectations.....but at least I haven't lost any money

That's a real shame, and really not on. I know I'm stating the obvious but she got to go whilst the sun is out or she will be sitting in your garage until next spring / summer Did you actually speak to this person over the phone or has it always been email or text ? has this been a wind-up by someone who is Cluttered ? you know what I mean.

I did speak to Le Frog last Sunday and he sounded like quite an authentic "rifle dropper" to me - I hadn't suspected a Clutters connection!
In a way I don't mind if I still have it over the winter BUT I do want a Stag...and I had a good feeling about the two I was going to look at.

Shame about the time waster / rifle dropper m8!
At the end of the day it could of been someone trying to rip you off and backed out when he realized you weren't a push over...who knows!
Good luck finding another buyer m8!!

Sorry to hear this Ian, it is a bummer when a deal falls through and you have sort of got it in your mind that things were moving forward.
Just keep pushing the adverts mate on all sites, even worth sling it on ebay as they do reckon it gets one of the best audiences.

Yep...I was never that at ease with the whole idea of it. I am old enough not to count my chickens but, try as I might, I was thinking this was going to happen. I could feel the Stag !!! This is the one I was after....
