Cadbury goes for an Mot

Postby piscean57 » Sun Jun 21, 2015 2:05 am

My friendly Stag expert came and started the reluctant Cadbury this afternoon, and took it away. Not often I hear what it sounds like driving off but "very good" sums it up. As most know, its got a Rover 3.5 V8 from an SD1, rather than the Triumph 3lit V8 which, I admit, sounds better than the RV8 (very few cars sound better than a Stag engined Stag though).

Not expecting there to be too much trouble but, with my luck, who knows. The aim is to be able to attend the HSCC GP at Brands in it in a couple of weeks, and participate in the 2 lunchtime laps round the GP circuit which the SOC get.

If anyone fancies coming along, its a great day.

It's on Saturday July 11th.

You up for it David?......or you Bob? ( you two being the closest).

I'm up for this Ian. It sounds like a good day and a great excuse to get the video camara out.

I'm not sure how I'm going to pass the M off as a Stag though.

I've just got to grow suitably bushy tash :-)

That is great to hear, but you wil l have to park away from the gloriousness of the Stag only preferential parking area David. Two weeks to work on the 'tash too!
